Learn and Reflect! (Reflection 3)
However, it wasn’t all smooth sailing. One challenge I faced was making the web page design and figuring out how HTML lists work. When I first started designing the page, I found it difficult to decide where to place everything and how to make the layout look clean and organized. It took time to understand how different elements like text, images, and buttons should be arranged. Additionally, I struggled with using HTML lists. At first, I didn’t quite understand how to properly create and format lists, whether they were ordered or unordered. The items would sometimes not appear as expected, or the design looked cluttered. I also had trouble with making the lists responsive, meaning they didn’t always look good on different screen sizes. At times, I felt frustrated because the page didn’t look the way I envisioned it. It was especially difficult when the lists didn’t display the content correctly or when they overlapped with other elements on the page.
To overcome these challenges, I took a step-by-step approach. I revisited the lesson materials, watched tutorial videos online, and even asked my groupmates for help. They were supportive, and we often worked together to troubleshoot issues. This collaborative approach not only helped me better understand the technical aspects of web design but also made the process more enjoyable. I’m really excited about continuing this journey of learning and growing. I’m also grateful to have such supportive and hardworking groupmates who help and encourage me along the way. Together, we will continue to learn, improve, and create meaningful projects that we can all be proud of.
Looking ahead, I will continue to work on improving my web design skills, as I’ve realized there’s still so much more to learn. I also want to learn more about advanced HTML techniques. Although I’ve already learned a lot this quarter, I know there are many more things I can do with HTML to make my web pages more interactive and visually engaging. On top of web design, I want to keep using the knowledge I gained from our community-based research to create projects that really matter. I learned how to gather information and analyze data, and I want to apply that in ways that help our community. I’m especially interested in how I can use technology and design to share important findings with people in an easy-to-understand way. I’m also looking forward to working more closely with my groupmates. We’ve learned a lot from each other and helped each other through challenges, and I think we’ll continue to do that as we work on future projects. It’s been great to collaborate and see everyone’s strengths come together to create something meaningful. I’m excited to keep growing as a team and continue learning from both my groupmates and my own experiences.
I'm glad you learned a lot during this quarter, please continue to study well and I hope you accomplish your goals!
