A Day to Remember!

The 123rd High School Day celebration at ISNHS was an unforgettable experience! The energy was electric from the moment I arrived. This year's theme was especially meaningful, as it highlighted the importance of discipline and teamwork – values that ISNHS has instilled in its students for over a century.

For the past few weeks, we've been practicing a lot for our field demo which it will be a competition between each grade level, showcasing our talents in dancing. Even though we didn't win, we still did our best to execute our best performance. Our section, 10-Maxwell, has also won as the "Most Disciplined Section" for the whole grade 10. To celebrate this, we have gathered up as a section and had a small handaan.

The day wasn't just about competition; it was about celebrating our school's rich history and the bonds we share. We enjoyed the various booths, each offering unique activities and entertainment. Lunchtime brought a special treat: a handaan with friends, eating Mang Inasal – a perfect way to refuel and recharge before the afternoon's events. I even got to help out at our section's booth, interacting with fellow students and sharing in the fun.
The day culminated in the electrifying Battle of the Bands. The talent showcased was incredible; the energy in the crowd was infectious. It was the perfect ending to a fantastic day. The yearly celebration of ISNHS's founding is significant because it's more than just a birthday; it's a commemoration of the school's legacy, its values, and the generations of students it has shaped. It's a chance to reflect on our shared history, celebrate our achievements, and reaffirm our commitment to the school's ideals. It's a day to remember where we came from and to look forward to the future, carrying the values of ISNHS with us.
